Dr. Anna Dalton is originally from Cary, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Dalton's professional interests include oncology and transplant. Upon completion of her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue specialty residency training. She would like to practice at an academic medical center as a board-certified clinical specialist where she will have opportunities to precept both students and residents. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, walking her dog Banks, watching reality game show TV, and exploring new restaurants.

Dr. Taylor Funkhouser was born and raised in Franklin, Indiana, and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Butler University in Indianapolis. Her professional interests include cardiology and critical care. Following completion of her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue specialty residency training. Dr. Funkhouser’s long-term goal is to become a board-certified clinical pharmacist at an academic medical center, where she hopes to provide exceptional patient care while creating meaningful learning opportunities for pharmacy students and residents. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Funkhouser enjoys exploring new restaurants, collecting vinyl records, boxing, and spending time with her siblings.

Dr. Ryan Haymon is originally from Charlestown, IN. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Indiana University Southeast and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Sullivan University. Dr. Haymon's professional interests include hematology, oncology, and palliative care. Upon completion of his PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency, he plans to pursue a specialty residency training. Ultimately, he would like to practice at an academic medical center as a board-certified clinical specialist where he will have opportunities to precept and mentor future students and residents. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends, going to live music events and musicals, and reading.

Dr. Kate McPherson is originally from Hutchinson, Kansas. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. Dr. McPherson’s professional interests include critical care and emergency medicine. Upon completion of her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue further residency training and ultimately practice as a board-certified specialist at an academic medical center. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. McPherson enjoys trying new restaurants, golfing, and spending time with her loved ones.

She would like to thank her family, friends, fiancé, and all her professional and personal mentors for their endless support, encouragement, and guidance throughout her journey. 

Dr. Osay Obanor earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Illinois Retzky College of Pharmacy. Her professional interests include infectious diseases and pediatrics. Upon completion of her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 in one of her clinical areas of interest. She aims to obtain specialty board certification and a role at an academic medical center that combines clinical research and patient care in pediatric infectious diseases. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys weightlifting and running.

Dr. Shannon Osborne is originally from Clifton Park, New York. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, critical care, and toxicology. Upon completion of her PGY1 pharmacy residency, Dr. Osborne plans to pursue further residency training with the goal of becoming a board-certified clinical pharmacy specialist. She also hopes to serve as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students and pursue clinical research. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Osborne enjoys going to the gym, taking long walks along the harbor, and trying new restaurants in Baltimore.

Dr. Mae Sarah Trinh is originally from Hammonton, New Jersey. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Long Island University – Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Trinh’s professional interests include hematology, oncology, and transplant. Following completion of her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue specialized residency training. Her goal is to practice as a board-certified clinical specialist at an academic medical center, where she can care for high-acuity patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and precept students and residents. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys live music, Broadway, watching sports (Go Birds!), traveling, reading, and family-style dining.

Dr. Ava Vande Corput is from Green Bay, Wisconsin and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Dr. Vande Corput’s professional interests include transplant and emergency medicine. Upon completion of her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue specialty residency training. Ultimately, she would like to practice at an academic medical center as a board-certified clinical specialist where she can engage with the new generation of pharmacy students as a preceptor. In her free time, she enjoys creating crafts for her fellow residents, spending time with her friends, family and dog Apollo, traveling and cooking new recipes.

Dr. Nyakeh Vandy Kamara is originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa, where he earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. He later moved to the United States and settled in Herndon, Virginia, and then earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Notre Dame of Maryland University School of Pharmacy in Baltimore, Maryland. He is currently completing a PGY-1/PGY-2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) Residency and a Master of Business Administration. Dr. Kamara’s professional interests include pharmacy administration, health-system leadership, quality improvement, medication safety, practice advancement, and pharmacy education. Following residency, his career goal is to become a health-system pharmacy leader in an academic medical center, where he can contribute to the development of systems and processes that positively impact patient outcomes. He is also passionate about contributing to the growth of the next generation of pharmacy professionals through teaching and precepting.Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Kamara enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, gaming, exploring new places and technologies, and supporting local agricultural and community development initiatives in Sierra Leone.

Dr. Quanshaul Vinson is originally from Wilson’s Mills, North Carolina. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. Prior to this, he completed an Associate of Science degree at Johnston Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree at East Carolina University. Quan is currently a PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital and is concurrently enrolled in the Johns Hopkins Health Management program. His professional interests include health-system leadership, population health, health equity, and improving access to care for underserved and rural communities. Upon completion of his residency, Quan plans to pursue a leadership role within a health system, with a focus on advancing equitable healthcare delivery and optimizing pharmacy operations. He also aspires to contribute to academia through teaching in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, and public health programs, engage in professional organization leadership, and participate in initiatives related to health policy, quality improvement, and global health. Outside of pharmacy, Quan enjoys baking desserts, traveling, watching football, writing, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Gallegos is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, followed by her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas A&M University-Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy. Her primary professional interest is clinical informatics, with a focus on leveraging data to enhance patient care and healthcare outcomes. Her long-term career goals include leading data-driven quality improvement initiatives and advancing the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical decision support systems.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Gallegos enjoys spending time with family and friends and pursuing opportunities for lifelong learning. She is deeply grateful to her family, friends, and mentors for their unwavering encouragement, guidance, and support throughout her academic and professional journey.

Dr. Kristen Norris is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she developed interests in oncology, clinical research, and the development of new therapies through research experiences and clinical rotations. She is currently completing the PGY1/PGY2 Investigational Drugs and Research Pharmacy Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her professional interests include investigational drug services, clinical research, oncology, and clinical trial operations. Her career goals include pursuing a role as a research pharmacist within a large academic medical center and eventually exploring opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry and clinical development. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Norris enjoys exploring Baltimore, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, reading, taking walks, and spending time with her cat.

Dr. Corinne Berkery is from Pearl River, New York and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Jefferson College of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Berkery's professional interests include cardiac critical care and advanced heart failure. Her ultimate career goal is to practice as a board-certified clinical specialist at an academic medical center where she will have opportunities to precept students and residents and participate in research. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going for walks with her dog Adderall Lorazepam (Addie Raz), exploring new coffee shops, practicing pilates, and traveling.

Dr. Elizabeth Remizowski is originally from New York Mills, New York. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Prior to pharmacy, she spent fifteen years as a professional pianist, earning her Bachelor of Music from SUNY Potsdam, Masters of Music from Florida State University, and four years of doctoral study at University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Ultimately, she aims to practice as a board-certified clinical specialist in an academic medical center, with opportunities to precept and engage in research. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys powerlifting, baking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her loving husband and ornery cat.

Dr. Tadros is originally from Riverside, California. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy and went on to complete her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Riverside University Health System. Dr. Tadros’s professional interests include medical toxicology, trauma resuscitation, and medication access. Upon completing her PGY2 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue emergency medicine board certification and practice as a clinical specialist at an academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center. She hopes to precept and mentor students and residents and improve medication access after emergency department discharge. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and listening to music.

Dr. SeHan Jeong is from Dallas, Texas. She has completed both her Bachelor of Sciences in Public Health and Doctor of Pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Albany, New York. Han is in her second year of the two-year Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency, which includes completing a Master of Business Administration degree at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Professional interests include strategic management and complex projects, healthcare innovations, and effective teamwork. Outside of work, Han enjoys visiting museums, catching a Broadway show, and traveling. 

Dr. Jasmine Ramirez is originally from Brooklyn, New York. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and went on to complete her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. Upon completion of her PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue board certification and practice as a clinical specialist in infectious diseases. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new coffee shops, jogging along the harbor, and spending time with her cat, Ravioli.

Dr. Luke O'Brien is originally from Columbus, Ohio. He is a graduate of Cedarville University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science as well as his Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Luke is currently in his second year of the two-year Pharmacy Informatics Residency. His professional interests include Clinical Informatics, Data Analytics, and Medication Safety. In his free time, Dr. O'Brien enjoys photography, video games, and swing dancing.

Dr. Emily Baraclough is originally from Waynesboro, Virginia. Dr. Eric Mackin is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Bellarmine University, followed by his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Amrit Pabla is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Amel Youssef is originally from New Jersey. Currently completing her PGY-2 pharmacy residency training, Dr. Youssef is gaining broad exposure across oncology subspecialties. Her goal is to practice as a clinical pharmacy specialist in hematologic malignancies and become a Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) at an academic medical center, where she hopes to combine direct patient care with teaching and mentorship. Outside of work, Dr. Youssef enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. Sadora Franklin is from White Hall, Maryland. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023 and continued her education at Pitt to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2025 with a concentration in Geriatrics and Palliative Care. Dr. Franklin's professional interests include pain management, palliative care, and substance use disorders. After the completion of her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency, she plans to pursue specialty residency training. Her goal is to ultimately practice as a board-certified clinical pharmacy specialist, serving as a preceptor and mentor for future residents and students.
