JHHS Technician Training Program Admission Requirement
What is the JHHS Pharmacy Technician Training Program admission requirement?
Hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Admission is open to both internal and external candidates. If the applicant is an internal employee, must be a current JHHS employee for a minimum of 6 months and be eligible for internal transfer (in good standing, ex: not on active discipline or any issues with attendance/tardiness).
Pass the pre-enrollment math and reading comprehension competency assessments with a minimum of score of 70% for each assessment.
Candidate must successfully complete all the requirements set forth in the JHHS offer letter (see requirements below). Note: illicit drug use, criminal background checks, and noncompliance with immunization status may prevent employment and will be verified prior to enrollment into JHHS Technician Training Program.
Completing a health screening and being cleared by Occupational Health Services
Receiving satisfactory results on your criminal background check
Receiving satisfactory results on your educational background check, including confirmation that you satisfy the minimum job requirements
Receiving satisfactory results on your employment verification, including a confirmation that you satisfy the minimum job requirements
Receiving satisfactory results on your references checks
Providing valid proof of identification
Providing valid proof of authorization to work in the United States
Successfully completing a one-day new employee orientation
