Small Grants Program
Do you need funding to kick-start an education project?
The IEE Small Grants Program provides funding for JHUSOM faculty members to support educational scholarship and innovation projects. Team members may include learners, and interdisciplinary teams are encouraged. Some calls permit topics in all areas of medical and biomedical education, broadly defined, while others have a specific and more limited focus.
We use a two-phase process.
- Phase I: Brief Written Application
- Phase II: The IEE Managing Board selects finalists to present live
We encourage applicants to develop their own mentoring team. Applicants can also meet with the IEE Small Grants Advisory Committee, chaired by Steve Sozio, MD, MHS, MEHP, to help with proposals (as available).
Finalists are strongly encouraged to meet with this Committee in advance of their presentation. Contact Dr. Sozio for scheduling and guidance.
