Foundations of Mentoring Coaching and Advising Course

This course focuses on the fundamentals of effective mentoring, coaching and advising in medical education. Participants will explore how these roles differ and when to employ strategies for each to support learners. 

Course Content Includes:

  • Compare and contrast mentoring, coaching and advising in medical education.   
  • Apply key skills for mentoring, coaching and advising in varying educational contexts and settings. 
  • Employ coaching skills to support learner skill development, well-being and performance improvement. 

Course Fee: $450 – eligible for use of tuition remission benefit. Complete the e-form at the end of the registration process to exercise the benefit.
