Jennifer Dean, M.D.
Dr. Dean is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist at the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Cancer & Blood Disorders Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida. She joined the hospital staff in 2021 and is currently director of the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) and Survivorship Programs and co-lead of the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program. She also serves as the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) Site Principal Investigator for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Dean has extensive experience in survivorship care, with a longstanding focus on long-term follow-up and quality of life in pediatric oncology patients. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Oncology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Mindy Duren, A.R.N.P., FNP-BC
Melinda Duren is a pediatric hematology/oncology nurse practitioner in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Survivorship Clinic. She joined the hospital staff in 2010. In her role, Duren provides new patients with treatment summaries, reviews diagnostic tests and sees and manages survivorship patients. Duren earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
Louise James, R.N., B.S.N., CPHON
Louise James is a nurse coordinator in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Survivorship Clinic. She joined the hospital staff in 1996. In her role, James manages patient scheduling, prepares all documents for patient visits, requests outside records and triages all survivorship phone calls and staff clinics. James earned her Associate Degree in Nursing form Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.
