Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplant: Conditions We Treat
Our advanced stem cell and bone marrow transplants provide hope of a cure for children with blood cancer and other disorders. See which conditions we can treat.
Stem cell and bone marrow transplants (BMT) can be lifesaving treatments for children with blood cancers and other disorders. We’ve been performing stem cell and bone marrow transplants on Florida’s west coast since 1985. Thanks to our pioneering research and innovative transplant approach in the Stem Cell & Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s, we’re able to use BMT to treat many serious and complex conditions.
Conditions We Treat
Our researchers and transplant specialists are constantly working to advance stem cell and bone marrow transplant options.
We have high success rates using BMT to treat leukemia, lymphoma, inborn errors of immunity, inborn errors of metabolism, hemoglobinopathies and bone marrow failure disorders. At our unique Center for Cell & Gene Therapy for Nonmalignant Conditions, we customize BMT and gene therapy to treat rare, noncancerous disorders.
