The 2026 SHINE Conference is now closed. Visit the On-Demand Library and Virtual Poster Hall to view all presentations. They will be available until the 2028 SHINE Conference opens on April 12, 2028.

Contact Hour Session Type Session Details 
0.5 for every three posters  


Poster Session

View and evaluate at least three (3) poster presentations

Poster contact hours will be offered in increments of three only. For example, three posters = 0.5 contact hours; six posters = 1.0 contact hours; nine posters = 1.5 contact hours, etc.

No partial contact hours will be offered, e.g., if you evaluate four or five posters, you will still earn .05 contact hours.

Posters can be viewed in-person or in the Virtual Poster Hall.
Amount varies

Oral Presentations  Most, but not all, oral presentations (podium, education, etc.) are offered at .5 contact hours. The amount of NCPD contact hours that can be earned will be displayed at the beginning of the presentation. Oral presentation can be viewed in-person or in the On-Demand Library 

Requirements 

To receive contact hours, attendees must:  

You are only able to claim contact hours once per session or poster. If you claim NCPD contact hours for attending a session in-person you cannot also claim NCPD contact hours for watching the same session online. 

To receive a confirmation email, please check the “send me a copy of my responses” box (below), just above “submit.” You must do this for each evaluation you complete. Save the emails until the

Participants will have until May 15, 2026 to register for the conference, participate in the conference and complete the evaluation. As noted above, certificates will be emailed after the conference closes.
