Workshops
The Johns Hopkins Center for Nursing Inquiry is launching a new virtual workshop series in 2026: INQUIRY EXPEDITION - where nurses explore, discover, and navigate the wilderness of inquiry.
The Inquiry Expedition is an adventurous series of workshops designed to build confidence and skill across research, evidence-based practice (EBP), quality improvement (QI), and dissemination. Inspired by an epic trek through an uncharted jungle, each session helps participants discover new terrain, build essential survival skills, and gain the tools needed to move through the landscape of inquiry.
Through five Basecamps including Foundations, Evidence, Research, Improvement, and Performance, nurses learn how to spot meaningful questions, uncover evidence, identify gaps, map out strong plans, improve systems, and share their findings with clarity and purpose.
Whether you are new to inquiry or preparing to share your discoveries with a larger audience, The Inquiry Expedition offers an engaging, guided path for developing your scholarly voice.
Target Audience: All JHHS nurses interested in building their inquiry skills.
Workshops are held on the on the fourth Friday of most months from 8:00 am - 10:00 am. No workshops are scheduled for April or December (but join us at the SHINE Conference in April). The November workshop will be held on the third Friday of the month. All workshops offer 1+ NCPD contact hours - complete all 10 workshops and earn 15+ NCPD contact hours.
