Medical Biochemical Genetics Fellowship

The Medical Biochemical Genetics Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of Genetic Medicine is one year ACGME-accredited fellowship open to individuals who have completed a residency in medical genetics. This fellowship offers specialized training in inpatient and outpatient biochemical genetics with the renowned clinical faculty of the Department of Genetic Medicine, clinical laboratory experiences in the Maryland State Newborn Screening Laboratory and at the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Biochemical Genetics Laboratory, and dedicated time for independent research. 

Trainees who have successfully completed this fellowship are qualified and eligible for examinations leading to certification by the ABMGG in Medical Biochemical Genetics.
