To better serve our families, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital provides information and resources for parents and caregivers to help explain and simplify the billing process.
We’ll ask you to provide us with your most recent health insurance information when you call to schedule an appointment for your child and when you arrive for your child’s appointment. This helps to ensure the billing process goes as efficiently as possible.
If your insurance plan requires a referral or authorization for treatment, we ask that you provide that information to us as soon as possible. You may need to send or bring other forms with you for your child’s appointment, depending on the care he or she is receiving. The member of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s team who is working with you to schedule the appointment can answer additional questions about necessary forms.

All major insurance plans are accepted by Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, as well as our specialty physicians. This section provides a recent list of insurance plans accepted. You should always verify with your insurance company, as specific benefit plans may limit your access.
