Language Interpretation

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital provides qualified interpretive services for patients and their families. These services are free of charge to our patients and families.

Recognizing that the exchange of information between patient and provider is an essential element of quality patient- and family-centered care, we provide our patients and their families with qualified interpretive services for languages other than English and for Sign Language (ASL). These services include over-the-phone interpretation, Video-remote interpretation or in-person for specific medical needs. For Spanish-speaking families, please call the Spanish Direct Response Number at 844-765-9930 to be connected with a Spanish interpreter.

When you call to schedule an appointment, please mention that you, or your family member, will need an interpreter. This will help us best meet your needs.

Language interpretation services are available around-the-clock.
