Vision Insurance

EyeMed

Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine makes vision insurance available to all full-time benefits eligible students through EyeMed. The plan provides coverage for eye exams, glasses and contact lenses. More information is available on the EyeMed website.

New PhD candidates are automatically enrolled with individual coverage, and the premium is paid for by their program. New master’s degree students and medical students can enroll in the plan voluntarily each plan year and are required to pay the annual $59 fee at enrollment. Covered students can enroll their spouse/partner and children at no additional cost.

Please note that the Wilmer Comprehensive Eye Clinic is not a participating provider in the EyeMed vision plan but can be used to supplement the Wilmer eye exam available through University Health Services (UHS).

Additional Benefit available through University Health Services (UHS)
