Janice Henry Named Johns Hopkins HealthCare’s AVP of Network Management

One of Johns Hopkins HealthCare’s (JHHC’s) primary goals for the next two fiscal years is accelerating plan/provider integration and collaboration. JHHC has hired Janice Henry, JD, as Associate Vice President of Network Management — a position critical to the accomplishment of this aim.

Janice earned her Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School. In her early career, she worked as counsel, a contract analyst, and in compliance. She then made her way into network development and provider services. Janice joins JHHC directly from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Connecticut, where she served as the executive director of provider solutions, focusing on expanding the network, negotiating hospital system agreements, and managing provider relationships. Janice has also recently worked for Anthem as the director of network management and with Commonwealth Care Alliance, Inc. as the senior director of provider network management.

Janice’s significant expertise in healthcare management, negotiating contracts, government programs, and managing provider/vendor relations renders her well-equipped to lead JHHC’s Network Management department in pursuit of the organization’s strategic objectives.

Note: Effective July 10, 2023, Johns Hopkins HealthCare is now Johns Hopkins Health Plans.
