Johns Hopkins Health Plans is a joint entity of the Johns Hopkins Health System and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Responsible for managing more than 470,000 members in Medicaid, Medicare, employer group and TRICARE® Prime health plans, we are a leader in provider-sponsored health plans. Leveraging the world-class research and clinical care of Johns Hopkins Medicine, we are uniquely able to prioritize more efficient care focused on outcomes and controlling costs.

Johns Hopkins Health Plans has four health plan products:

  • Advantage MD is a Medicare Advantage product offered to Medicare-eligible beneficiaries in Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region. Authorized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Advantage MD offers PPO, HMO and D-SNP products.
  • Employer Health Programs is a self-funded health plan serving Johns Hopkins Medicine employee members and their dependents.
  • Priority Partners is the largest of nine managed care organizations authorized by the state of Maryland to provide health care services for participants in Medicaid, Medical Assistance for Families and Maryland Children’s Health Program.
  • US Family Health Plan is a TRICARE Prime program serving active duty and retiree families living in Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region.

Located in Hanover, Maryland, about 20 minutes south of downtown Baltimore, our office features free parking, a fitness center, large atrium and concourse, an on-site health clinic staffed by a nurse practitioner, a game room, a meditation room, and a conference center.
