Explanation of Change:

Johns Hopkins Health Plans is pleased to announce that our USFHP pilot project has reached a successful conclusion and that USFHP will join our other health plans in the Availity provider portal.

All providers who were not part of the initial pilot program will have full access to USFHP transactions through the Availity Essentials portal on Aug. 20, 2026.

Through Availity, you can:

• Verify member eligibility and benefits
• Submit claims and track claims status
• Manage authorizations and referrals
• Centralize functions - administrative tools and resources all in one payer space
• Access provider reporting tasks (coming soon)

Next Steps & Action Required

• If your organization already uses Availity Essentials, USFHP will automatically appear as an available payer option in your portal starting Aug. 20, 2026.
• If your organization does not have an Availity account: Please use this link to set up a free Availity account.

NOTE: The HealthLINK portal will be decommissioned by Oct. 31, 2026.
