Explanation of Change:

Johns Hopkins Health Plans will be launching a new member portal and new apps next month. Implementation dates for each plan will be staggered during mid-to-late August. 

Key points to know:

• The new portals will replace the current portals (HealthLINK) for all health plans after a short overlap where both will be accessible.
• Members will need to create a new account. Current portal accounts will not migrate over.
• We will also launch two apps in conjunction with the new portal: a Johns Hopkins Health Plans app for members of Advantage MD, EHP and USFHP, and a Priority Partners app for members of that plan.
• The portal and app will provide greater visibility to and management of their health plan benefits, documents, out-of-pocket costs, claims and more.
• The portal and app will feature digital ID cards. Members may present their digital ID card to you instead of a printed card. Please follow your procedures in documenting coverage information from digital cards.

Provider offices do not need to take any action. This is for awareness only in case members ask about their health plan portal and for your staff to assist members.
