To protect the health of our patients, visitors and our community, we have made some updates to our labor and delivery protocols.

  • Each laboring mother who is admitted for delivery will receive a rapid COVID-19 test. If you are COVID-19 positive, our care team will follow our COVID-19 protocol to ensure the safest delivery.
  • We are hosting online classes and tours. Please visit and select Women's and Infants Services from the Department dropdown to see what's currently available.
  • To answer commonly asked questions around COVID-19, Johns Hopkins Medicine has created general patient information for pregnant women and new mothers.
