We provide comprehensive support for parents and their babies – from pregnancy through infancy and beyond – whether you choose to breastfeed, supplement, or use formula.

Our team includes International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) and breastfeeding educators with the expertise to guide you through every stage of your breastfeeding journey. While you’re in the hospital, our consultants can assess feeding, help address challenges and work with you to create a plan to meet your feeding goals. Breast pumps are available during your stay, and Sibley offers hospital-grade pumps for rent. Check with your insurance provider to see if pump rental is covered.

Additional Support for Breastfeeding

• Classes – Offered virtually, providing education and tips before and after your baby’s arrival.
• Outpatient Lactation Visits – Many parents encounter new questions or challenges after returning home. We offer outpatient visits either virtually or in person. To schedule an appointment or ask a question after discharge, email [email protected]. 

Virtual Lactation Support Group

Our virtual support group is an informal, welcoming space where parents can connect, share experiences and ask questions. Facilitated by one of our IBCLCs, the group encourages peer-to-peer support. Babies are welcome!
