What to Expect
Our private labor rooms combine a warm, comfortable environment with advanced medical technology. Each room includes a birthing bed, rocking and reclining chairs, a partner sofa, telephone, television, private bathroom and a shower with water massage.
If you have a cesarean birth, you’ll have access to our state-of-the-art operating rooms, with preparation and recovery taking place in our comfortable Labor & Delivery triage rooms.
During labor and birth, our dedicated nurses work closely with your physician to keep you comfortable and provide expert guidance and support. Whenever possible, your baby will be placed on your chest immediately after birth for skin-to-skin bonding. These first moments together are a special time to connect and get to know each other.
When you’re ready, you’ll transition to one of our private postpartum rooms on our Family Centered Care Unit, thoughtfully designed to accommodate and support families.
