Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® Training

The Trauma Resource Institute (TRI) designed the Community Resiliency Model (CRM)® to help individuals support themselves and others within their wider social network. The primary focus of this skills-based stabilization program is to reset the natural balance of the nervous system. CRM is an evidence-informed intervention that helps individuals understand their nervous system and learn to track sensations connected to their well-being, which TRI calls the “Resilient Zone.” CRM guides are not CRM teachers. They are individuals who have learned and use the CRM skills individually and commit to modeling and sharing these practices with others in their community. The presence of CRM guides in a team or community helps to create a common understanding of the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the nervous system and how resiliency can be increased or restored using this skills-based approach.

This 1-day in-person workshop is offered to staff and faculty of Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Health System and is taught by TRI-certified Community Resiliency Model teachers. This program is offered in partnership with the Office of Well-Being.
