PM&R Education and Training

An essential part of the mission of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is to train leaders in rehabilitation care and research. We offer educational programs, courses and other training opportunities for medical students, physiatrists, rehabilitation psychologists and therapists.

Johns Hopkins PM&R Residency Program Overview

The Johns Hopkins Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation provides a three-year (PGY2-4) residency program with extensive training in the evidence-based diagnosis, care and treatment of patients with disabilities.
