Pediatric Rehabilitation Fellowship
The Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellowship is offered through our partnership with Kennedy Krieger Institute. The fellowship aims to educate clinicians and prepare them for successful careers in pediatric rehabilitation. Fellows learn in a supportive environment under the mentorship of faculty of outstanding clinicians committed to helping you define and achieve your career goals.
Fellowship duration: one or two years depending on the applicant's experience and qualifications necessary for a board certification in pediatric rehabilitation

Program start date: July-August
Accredited by: Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
Clinical sites: Kennedy Krieger Institute and The Johns Hopkins Hospital

Fellowship Highlights
- Clinical learning is achieved through rotations at the Kennedy Krieger Institute pediatric rehabilitation continuum of care, including pediatric consults in the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and PICU, inpatient care in the Kennedy Krieger rehabilitation hospital, outpatient clinical programs at Kennedy Krieger and Johns Hopkins, and community care at the Kennedy Krieger rehabilitation day hospital program.
- Fellows follow their own patients in weekly pediatric rehabilitation clinics, as well as see patients in a wide variety of subspecialty clinics according to a monthly schedule.
- Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, fellows learn about the contributions of other disciplines, such as neuropsychology and behavior psychology, and learn to manage a rehabilitation team in this dynamic environment.
