The Armstrong Institute offers three programs—two online and one in-person—that provide a broad overview of patient safety and quality improvement work. Use this table to help you decide which is the best fit for you. For the online courses, you have the opportunity to sample or trial the course at no cost

Provides key concepts, tools and strategies to help patient safety champions improve culture, eliminate or mitigate hazards, and drive change, taking a deep dive into methods for fixing hazards and managing and sustaining change.

Covers many of the same topics as the 5-day certificate, but in a more concise way, with self-paced instruction and interactivity.

A broad and thorough introduction to patient safety and quality improvement, with a focus on the tools and strategies involved in health care improvement projects.
