Why I chose Johns Hopkins: Our residency has supportive, approachable leadership in the form of Dr. Mayer and Dr. Friedlander, attending physicians with diverse interests (ranging from transplant rehabilitation to myositis) who are passionate about what they do, and a uniquely diverse patient population. Thanks to the Hopkins reputation, we have the opportunity to care for both Baltimore natives and international patients from all over the world, for both common and extremely rare pathologies, and for people from a wide range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
What I like about Baltimore: Canton Waterfront Park, the waterfront promenade, the Earth Treks rock climbing gyms, and fitness studios such as YogaWorks, Rev Cycle Studio, M Power Yoga, and CorePower Yoga, just to name a few.

Why I chose Johns Hopkins: I knew that I would get to take care of a very diverse patient population here at Johns Hopkins. There also would be an abundance of research opportunities. I initially came to Johns Hopkins for my undergraduate degree and am excited to be able to return for the residency.
What I like about Baltimore: A lot of nice areas by the water, such as Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fed Hill. Delicious and diverse food places including Pitango Gelato ice cream in Fell’s Point, Maryland blue crabs at L.P. Steamers right here in Baltimore, and Hot Pot Hero in Ellicott City. Baltimore is also a very dog-friendly city.

What I like about Baltimore: I enjoy all the diverse neighborhoods with their unique vibes. I love the picturesque views around the harbor and trying different restaurants around town.
