Welcome to The Johns Hopkins Hospital! We hold high regard and value for supporting and training Nursing students at our Hospital. We prioritize education and training for the future and nursing students are part of that goal. Clinical Units at JHH
The Johns Hopkins Hospital, East Baltimore Campus, has over 1,000 beds and 13 different departments to complete clinical experiences. Whether you are a pre-licensure student part of a clinical group or an Advanced Practice student, we have several opportunities. Be sure to review our Specialties and Units.

- There are parking garages all over the east Baltimore campus.
- Students pay for parking as indicated. If a student has an ID badge, they can park for free only during these designated times - Monday - Friday, 4 p.m. - 8:30 a.m. and all day Saturday, Sunday and designated holidays.

- Non-JH SON students should obtain an ID badge IF they are working nights, weekends or are completing clinical in OB/GYN, any ICU’s or locked units. You can obtain an ID badge by contacting [email protected] and write “ID BADGE” in the subject line for efficient processing. All other students/units can have their Student ID badge displayed.
- Clinical instructors should obtain an ID badge following the same instructions above.

- If you are a pre-licensure student (clinical group or practicum) please contact your school coordinator for your JHED ID.
- If you are not a pre-licensure student and need a JHED ID, please complete Appendix A and submit to the [email protected] email for processing your JHED ID. Please indicate what type of student, school, clinical dates and location in your email.

- Wrong DOB, email, School ID or name misspellings can lead to difficulty with your JHED ID. Please contact your School coordinator to correct any incorrect DOB, or Emails.
- If you still cannot activate it please call the Help desk to help diagnose the problem 410-955-HELP

- Please ensure you have a JHED ID and have completed the appropriate Epic Trainings in their entirety.

- Once you have completed the trainings, and are still having access issues, please contact [email protected] for assistance. Please explain your name, school, clinical site and times.
- Please call the HELP Desk for additional diagnostics 410-955-HELP, or the Epic Help desk if you have access to Epic, but need additional assistance 410-614-EPIC.
- Please ensure you have a JHED ID and have completed the appropriate Epic Trainings in their entirety.
