Thank You!

Thank you for nominating a nurse or nursing team for the DAISY Award!

Nominations are collected and reviewed monthly. A team of clinical nurses from across The Johns Hopkins Hospital reads a blinded version of each nomination that we receive and votes to select that month’s winning nurse (nominations for nursing teams are voted on and awarded quarterly).

If you indicated that you would like to be notified if your nominee is selected as that month’s winner, you will be contacted by a member of the Johns Hopkins Hospital DAISY Team within a month (possibly two, depending on when the award ceremony is scheduled) of submitting your nomination.

All nurses who are nominated for a DAISY Award, but are not selected as that month’s winner, will be informed that they were nominated and receive a copy of their nomination letter, a personalized letter from our Vice President for Nursing and a DAISY nominee pin. Their manager will also be informed that the nurse was nominated for a DAISY Award. These notifications will be sent to the nominees 1-2 months after selecting that month’s winner. The individual who submitted the nomination will also receive a message from the Johns Hopkins Hospital DAISY Team at that time.

Thank you again for taking the time to honor an outstanding Johns Hopkins Hospital nurse.

Sincerely,

The Johns Hopkins Hospital DAISY Award Team
