Cardiology

From chest pain to cardiac transplant, our clinical faculty and staff are trained to diagnose and treat a spectrum of cardiac conditions that may be affecting your child. Considered the birthplace of pediatric cardiology, the Blalock-Taussig-Thomas Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center provides full cardiac catheterization and cardiac surgery services. They’re also experts in genetic cardiac diseases, non-invasive testing and evaluation and treatment of children and families with lipid disorders.

As the birthplace of pediatric medicine and the historic “blue baby” operation, the Blalock-Taussig-Thomas Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center treats all cardiology conditions from fetal through adult.
