Through our rehabilitation programs, Howard County General Hospital is committed to enabling outpatients, from newborns to adults, to reach and maintain their maximum level of functional independence in the areas of motor development, communication, swallowing and feeding, cognition, and sensory and perceptual skills.
HCGH offers therapy services in various campus buildings. The Johns Hopkins Musculoskeletal Center in the Charter Professional Building has adult physical therapists, pain management specialists and orthopeadic surgeons who treat orthopaedic conditions, injuries and manage pain. The Johns Hopkins Rehabilitation Network at Columbia in the Charter Professional Building has adult physical, occupational and speech therapists who treat a variety of conditions like stroke, neuromuscular diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis, migraine and lymphedema. The Bolduc Family Outpatient Pavilion in the main hospital building has pediatric physical, occupational and speech language pathology therapies for children.
