Our skilled pharmacists have advanced training and experience in a wide variety of specialties. When you come to our pharmacies, we answer your questions and provide counseling about your medications. With our clinical expertise, we help you take charge of your health.
Our pharmacy staff is part of your care team. We work with your providers through the same electronic health record (EHR) system for quick communication. As part of Johns Hopkins Care at Home, we can connect you with home medical supplies, equipment and services for any condition or injury.
Johns Hopkins Pharmacy has achieved accreditation from the Joint Commission, an organization whose recognition shows that our dedication to patient care meets or exceeds national standards for safety and quality.
Thanks to our in-house facilities and expertise, we have access to every medication you may need, without having to special-order complex or rare medicines.
Our pharmacist teams use a variety of safety measures to ensure that you receive safe, accurate medications. Two pharmacists review every new prescription for accuracy, and we use bar code scanning to confirm prescriptions. For children, we check their weight, age and other details in their EHR to make sure dosages are safe. When you pick up your prescription, we scan your ID to make sure you receive the right prescription.
