Angela Andrade, PharmD

Dr. Angela Andrade is originally from California. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior and her Bachelor of Arts in Chicano Studies from the University of California, Davis, before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the USC Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She recently relocated to Maryland to complete her PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency with the Johns Hopkins Care at Home program.

Her professional interests include ambulatory care, transitions of care, chronic disease management, and medication optimization. She is passionate about providing patient-centered care through meaningful relationships, medication education, and collaborative practice. Outside of pharmacy, Dr. Andrade enjoys discovering coffee shops, Pilates, and exploring new places with her dog.

Alice Mahir, PharmD

Dr. Alice Mahir is originally from Brooklyn, NY. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She has prior experience in community pharmacy and hopes to expand her clinical knowledge in managing chronic disease states throughout residency.

Dr. Mahir’s professional interests include ambulatory care, specialty pharmacy, home infusion, and geriatrics. She is particularly drawn to areas of pharmacy that allow her to develop long-term relationships with patients and work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. During Dr. Mahir’s free time, she enjoys pottery, trying new restaurants, taking long walks, and spending time with her friends and family.

Parth Patel, PharmD

Dr. Parth Patel is originally from Cartersville, Georgia. He completed his pharmacy prerequisite courses at Kennesaw State University before beginning pharmacy school. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia in 2023. Following graduation, Dr. Patel pursued a one-year Executive Fellowship in Association Management with the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. Upon completing his fellowship, he joined APhA as the Senior Manager of Student Development, a role he held for two years. Seeking additional patient care and leadership experience, Dr. Patel decided to pursue postgraduate residency training in administration and leadership.

He is currently completing a two-year Community Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (CPAL) Residency at Johns Hopkins Care at Home while pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree through the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. His professional interests include ambulatory care, HIV management, substance use disorder management, medical communications, and quality improvement. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys amateur special effects makeup, costume design, dance, and weightlifting.
