Eligibility and Application

Due to federal regulations based on our funding, applicants are required to be U.S. citizens or have permanent U.S. residence status at the time of the application.

Pre-doctoral candidates must be enrolled in a Johns Hopkins University doctoral program. To apply to the training program, each pre-doctoral candidate must submit a statement of interest (1-3 pages, detailing the applicant's interest in Behavioral Aspects of Heart and Vascular Diseases) to the Principal Investigator.

Post-doctoral applicants must complete the application process for the GIM Fellowship.Personal interviews are arranged for those selected from the pool of applicants. A rolling admissions process is utilized, so that applicants may be reviewed as quickly as possible.

The program is particularly interested in applications from individuals from underrepresented minority groups. Many research projects conducted by the faculty focus on the care of minority and other underserved populations at increased risk of premature morbidity, disability, and mortality. The Johns Hopkins University is an equal opportunity employer.
