Background
Kacey Chae, M.D. is a fellow in General Internal Medicine. She practices medicine at the Johns Hopkins Healthful Eating, Activity, and Weight Program as well as General Internal Medicine at Greenspring Station. Her clinical interest is delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care to individuals with obesity.
Dr. Chae attended Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she received her Doctor of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. After residency, she pursued a clinical fellowship in Obesity Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University to gain expertise in comprehensive weight management. Dr. Chae is currently pursuing a postdoctoral research fellowship to investigate lifestyle intervention in older adults with obesity that improves health outcomes.
