Obesity Medicine Fellow

Jyotsna (pronounced JO-snah) Ghosh (sounds like Ghost), MD is an Obesity Medicine fellow whose lifelong interest in healthy weight management and in overall wellness led her to build her career on those foundations. Dr. Ghosh believes that success is most assured when the physician partners with each patient to tailor a plan to fit that individual's goals, lifestyle, and personal characteristics. She is particularly interested in working to adapt those plans to reflect cultural preferences and to respond to various health conditions.

Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Ghosh graduated from Dartmouth College before completing medical school at Brown University and her residency at Johns Hopkins. When she has time, she continues to write essays and poetry in narrative medicine.
