Welcome to The Kwatra Laboratory at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine!
We are interested in the pathogenesis of chronic pruritic, inflammatory skin diseases with a special focus on diverse patient populations.
Our team uses cutting-edge technologies to discover novel disease mechanisms and novel patient endotypes. These techniques include single cell RNA sequencing, flow cytometry, multiplex skin imaging, proteomics, metabolomics, microbiome studies, machine learning, and systems biology. We also perform mechanism-driven clinical trials. Learn more about our group.
