We understand that having a child in the CVICU can be a difficult experience that impacts the whole family. We strive to provide resources to support you and your family during your child’s treatment.
For more information, including our Inpatient Family Guide, please visit the Patient and Family Support page.
Qualified interpreters for languages other than English and for Sign Language (ASL) are available for our patients and their families. Learn more about our Language Interpretation services.
Car seat checks
Before your child goes home, we’ll make sure your child is ready to safely use a car seat. You will be responsible for securing the car seat into your car. Car seat checks are available to help you make sure your car seat is installed correctly. The Safe Kids team provides car seat checks by appointment at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Community partners also provide car seat checks at locations around the Tampa Bay area. Learn more about car seat checks near you.
