When your child has a heart condition, the team in the Pediatric Cardiology Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, provides expert, comprehensive treatment for all aspects of congenital heart disease.

Why Choose Johns Hopkins All Children’s
Dedicated Expert Team
Our board-certified pediatric cardiologists combine extensive knowledge and advanced techniques to provide the highest level of care and have deep experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of congenital and acquired heart conditions. Our team also includes physician assistants and advanced practice registered nurses who assist in evaluating and treating our patients, as well as a specialty-trained nursing staff that provides an additional layer of expertise and support.
Comprehensive, Lifelong Care
We treat children of all ages with a range of heart conditions, from common conditions like heart murmurs and palpitations, to more complex conditions. Many of our patients may be diagnosed before birth by our Fetal Heart Program team, who provide diagnostic testing and help manage your child’s care before, during and after delivery. We also treat adults who were born with congenital heart disease as part of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program, so your child can continue to receive care well into adulthood from a team that understands how congenital heart defects impact patients during every phase of life.
Specialized Treatment Programs
We have several clinics dedicated to treating complex heart conditions and conditions associated with the heart in a multidisciplinary fashion, ensuring patients receive care from experts who understand the nuances of each condition. We work closely with specialists across the hospital in areas such as oncology, neurology, pulmonology, genetics, obesity, nephrology, and psychology to provide your child with holistic care. We have a dedicated exercise physiologist, multiple dieticians, and coordinators to provide the well rounded care necessary to treat the whole patient and family.
