During 2023, the Suburban Hospital Foundation was honored to receive philanthropic gifts in excess of 5.3 million to support capital projects, nursing initiatives, specialize clinical programs, and staff education and training.

Responding to the COVID-19 Crisis

Suburban Hospital is committed to meeting the growing health care needs of our patients. We welcome the community’s support to ensure our clinical teams have an ample supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other supplies for treating our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Campus Enhancements

Suburban Hospital has met the challenge of transforming our stand-alone hospital into a fully integrated, comprehensive medical campus. Our Campus Enhancement Project, including its first major clinical addition in 35 years, was a multi-phase initiative that began during the spring of 2015 and concluded with the completion of the new clinical building in March 2020.

Cutting-Edge Clinical Initiatives

Suburban Hospital has received the American College of Cardiology’s (ACC) NCDR Chest Pain — MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2019, one of 225 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor. This signifies that we have reached an aggressive goal of treating these patients to standards of care as outlined by the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association clinical guidelines and recommendations. 

Jacky Schultz Nursing Excellence Fund

After 15 years of outstanding service, Jacky Shultz has retired as president of Suburban Hospital. In her honor, the Foundation is raising funds to support nursing excellence initiatives. Your donatation to the Nursing Excellence Fund will help continue Jacky’s legacy of commitment to innovative patient care.

Employee Assistance Fund

The Employee Assistance Fund (EAF) is to aid employees experiencing an unanticipated financial emergency.  Funds are designed to have a direct impact on the lives of employees affected by hardship and further enhance workforce morale. Thank you for helping us help our team!
