The Four Doctors Awards

The Four Doctors Awards recognize the achievements of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine faculty who exemplify the legacy of excellence embodied by the institution’s founding physicians: William Osler, William Henry Welch, William Stewart Halsted, and Howard Atwood Kelly. One award is presented annually.
The Four Doctors Awards are made possible thanks to the generosity of Charles Homcy, an alumnus of the Johns Hopkins University Krieger School of Arts and Sciences (AB ’70, human biology) and School of Medicine (MD ’73).
