How We Make Sure You Are Safe- COVID 19 Response

The ongoing historic COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in significant challenges in the way we pursue our mission and disruptions to our personal and professional lives.  Moreover, the current pandemic has had significant impact on the financial performance of healthcare organizations.

At Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, our primary objective is to ensure safety of our patients, staff, technologists, nurses and visitors.  We have adopted strategies for prevention and safe infection control practices; we have modified our workflow and workspace to maximize social distancing and minimize spread of the virus across our organization.

Through careful planning, increasing testing capacity and providing personal protective equipment and disinfectants, we are able to image patients safely, and ramp up ambulatory services and elective procedures.  In addition, we have created a “Specialty Suite” to safely image patient who are COVID positive or under investigation.
