Speech-Language Pathology Fellowships

Johns Hopkins offers four distinct 12 or 13-month long speech-language pathology (SLP) fellowships. They include adult and pediatric fellowships in the acute care setting with rotation through all service lines, a fellowship in outpatient adult neurological rehabilitation with specialty clinics and modified barium swallow studies, and an advanced fellowship program with a focus on complex patients in the ICU.

  • The dedicated team of SLP mentors offers more than 100 years of combined clinical experience.
  • Each fellowship program includes a combination of clinical, didactic and clinical research experience.
  • The outpatient and acute care programs require a limited license from the Maryland SLP Board.
  • All applicants to the advanced ICU fellowship must have their CCC-SLP and have (or qualify for) the full Maryland state license prior to the start of the position. Learn more about obtaining a Maryland license.

The application window for all positions will open January 1. Please refer to the specific program for the application deadline.

Please note that we are unable to sponsor visas for international applicants.
