Intraoperative CT at Johns Hopkins Bayview
Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center was the first hospital in Maryland with a dual-room intraoperative CT scanner and image-guided surgery system for neurosurgery. The intraoperative CT (iCT) and image-guided surgery system let surgeons see things that otherwise can’t be seen during complex brain, spine and trauma surgeries. All images from the iCT are available in real time and allow for high-accuracy image-guided surgery.
