Volunteers

Volunteers at the Hackerman-Patz Patient and Family Pavilion provide hospitality and support to patients and families and play an important role in enhancing the Pavilion's welcoming, home-like environment. By sharing their time and talents, volunteers create heartwarming experiences and lasting memories in the lives of patients and their caregivers. Throughout the year, the Pavilion welcomes new volunteers and program ideas. Please consider volunteering and making a difference in the lives of others.

Opportunities include:

  • Ongoing programming and activities for guests at the Pavilion including weekly dinners, Bingo, Family Game Night, Movie Nights, and Pizza Dinners.
  • Artist in Residence Program, a program hosted by art student volunteers who provide weekly art projects and workshops to guests of the Pavilion.

Thank you for your interest in the volunteer program. Due to COVID-19, all in-person volunteering at the Hackerman-Patz Pavilion has been suspended at this time. Please consider making a donation to support the meal program for guests of the Pavilion.  For more information, please call 410-955-2304 or contact Wasim Hussaini at whussai1@jhmi.edu.
