Housing Maryland’s only regional burn center, a designated level II trauma center and a Pediatric Center designed for emergency and inpatient pediatric care, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is well prepared to provide the care necessary for the most complex emergency cases. Our modern facilities and compassionate staff continue Johns Hopkins Medicine’s tradition of medical innovation with patient-family-centered approach.

The emergency department provides care 24 hours a day, and is staffed by physicians, nurses, physician assistants and other health care professionals who are trained and certified in emergency care.
