Meals by Request

At Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, meals for patients are “at your request.” Patients and families can order snacks and meals — what they want, when they want it — from a child-friendly menu, daily from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For a nominal fee, families, too, can order from the in-room menu and have their meals delivered along with their child’s.

Patients (or their families for them) place their meal orders by phone to nutrition services, where nutritionists who have knowledge of any diet restrictions or allergies can suggest equally delicious alternatives.

Certified kosher meals are available, and a kosher hospitality suite is located in Blaylock 175. Please ask your nurse for more information.

Places to Eat on Location

As part of The Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Children's Center is on campus with several eateries where families and visitors can pick up a quick cup of coffee or carry-out, or sit down for a leisurely meal.
