Education and Training at Johns Hopkins Bayview
As an academic teaching hospital, educating generations of medical professionals is essential to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. All of our physicians are full-time faculty of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
We provide a supportive environment to help students and house staff become leaders in primary care, general internal medicine, geriatric medicine and other medical subspecialties.
Called “Charm City” for a reason, Baltimore is a place that has a little something for everybody. Baltimore is a spirited city – a unique blend of historic charm, cultural heritage and urban vitality. With hanging out at the Inner Harbor, attending neighborhood festivals, biking to school and more, Johns Hopkins medical students, graduate students and residents have a lot to love about Baltimore.
Our award-winning blog is dedicated to showcasing the perspectives of our trainees, and written and edited by our medical students, graduate students, residents, postdocs and fellows. They share stories about daily life in the classroom, experiences with residency, research they're working on, tips for future medical students and researchers, and the best parts about living in Baltimore and being part of the Johns Hopkins family.
