Commitment to CommunityJohns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Man giving blood at a blood drive

Staff members at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center are devoted to southeast Baltimore and continually strive to earn their place as an integral part of the community. Among our offerings are public outreach programs, health seminars and screenings, many of which are free.

Blood Drives

In these uncertain times, patients and hospitals are relying on the generosity of blood donors to ensure a stable supply of blood for the most vulnerable among us. Healthy individuals are needed to donate now to help patients counting on lifesaving blood.

  • If you are an eligible donor, we encourage you to participate in one of our upcoming drives.

    • February 20, 23 and 24, 2023
    • April 24, 26, and 27, 2023
    • June 21, 22 and 23, 2023
    • August 21, 22 and 23, 2023
    • October 18, 19 and 20, 2023
    • December 27, 28 and 29, 2023
  • Donating blood is a safe process and you should not hesitate to give or receive blood. The American Red Cross is abiding by social distancing standards and is setting up their drives to have as much distance as possible between donors.
