Cost and Billing Information for International Patients

We are here to guide you through the financial process, so you feel confident about costs, deposits, insurance coverage and payment options before you travel to the U.S.

Cost Estimates

Before your appointment is confirmed, our financial services team will prepare an estimate of your medical costs based on your diagnosis and expected services. This estimate is not a final bill, but it helps you plan ahead.

Deposits and Letters of Guarantee

  • A deposit may be required before scheduling.
  • If your embassy or insurance company provides a letter of guarantee, it may take the place of a deposit.
  • After your care is complete, any unused funds will be refunded.
  • If your deposit does not cover the full cost of care, we will send you a bill for the remaining balance.

Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Bank transfer / wire transfer
  • Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
  • Approved insurance with a letter of guarantee from your insurer or embassy

Common Scenarios

  • If you are paying out of pocket:

You will receive a cost estimate, and may be asked to submit a deposit before your appointment is confirmed. The final bill will reflect the actual services you receive, and any extra deposit will be refunded.

  • If your embassy is covering your care:

We will work directly with your embassy once they provide a letter of guarantee. You may not need to provide a deposit if this is approved in advance.

  • If you have international insurance:

If your insurance company provides a letter of guarantee, it may replace a deposit. If preauthorization is not possible, you may be asked to pay a deposit to cover the expected cost of care.

After Your Care

Once your visit is complete, you will receive a final statement of charges.

  • If your deposit was greater than your final charges, we will issue a refund.
  • If your deposit was less than your final charges, we will send you a bill for the balance.

Refunds can be issued even after you return home. Please be sure we have your current mailing and email address.
