Affirmative Action

The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System seek to achieve representation of women and under-represented minorities at all levels across the institution. Our programs are designed to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, seek to remedy past discrimination against women, minorities, veterans and other protected classifications.

By removing barriers to job opportunities and increasing the recruitment, promotion, retention and on-the-job training, we believe the necessary pieces will be in place to develop a diverse workforce.

Our commitment to affirmative action and equal employment opportunity covers all human resource actions including employment, compensation, benefits, training, education, tuition aid, transfers, promotions and social/recreational programs.

Should you have any questions concerning affirmative action, please contact Organizational Equity at [email protected].
