Orientation and Summer Core Series Lectures
A yearly intensive series of didactics (~10 lectures during orientation week and 10-15 lectures over the remainder of the summer) aimed at ensuring fellows are well prepared to function as the leaders of our inpatient consultative services.

Clinical Expertise Series Lectures
Monthly (fall-spring): A lecture series (~ 20 lectures) that spans two years. These are more detailed lectures where faculty share and discuss nuances of care in their area of clinical expertise.

Boards prep question Review
In spring we have ~ 6 sessions to review 35-40 ESAP questions to provide our fellows with a jump start to start studying for the ABIM certification exam.

Weekly
Endocrinology Grand Rounds
These are presentations by Hopkins and invited outside faculty on clinically relevant topics and translational research for which the faculty are nationally and internationally known experts. Most grand rounds occur via zoom and sessions are recorded so that our fellows can review them in detail at a later date.

Margolis Clinical Conferences
Margolis conference is a settings for fellows to drive education for our entire group. In this way they build knowledge in a more self-directed way whilst honing their presentation skills. Sessions include: Case discussions and case presentations, Journal clubs, Pathology conference, Bench to Bedside, & Research in Progress.

We believe that providing foundational knowledge from our wonderful and highly experienced clinical experts is critical to a fellow’s development. To accomplish this, we provide:

Endocrinology Grand Rounds
Weekly (fall-spring), Wednesday 3:30-4:30 pm: presentations by Johns Hopkins and visiting faculty on clinically relevant topics and translational research. Of note, one in-person grand rounds speaker is invited by our fellows as the W. Tabb Moore speaker. We organize a lovely day with the invited speaker and our fellows always enjoy this important occasion.
ESAP Question Review
