Serves as an education and training resource to Johns Hopkins All Children’s principal investigators, sub-investigators and their study team members on best practices for conducting clinical research.

Serves to develop, investigate, disseminate, apply, and educate other researchers and trainees on novel approaches in healthcare data science and new analytic methodologies.

Serves as a resource to investigators, including helping to navigate investigators through review and approval processes and engaging the expertise of cores and shared resources to enhance efficiency and quality of early-phase trial planning and execution.

Provides the infrastructure to successfully lead and conduct multicenter pediatric studies.

Provides study design, database design, statistical analysis plan development, data management, and analytic plan execution services and expertise for multicenter studies focused on child health and disease.

Addresses child health disparities related to maternal/child health, obesity, diabetes, sickle cell disease and adolescent health.

Creates partnerships among researchers, health departments and community organizations to advance pediatric population and preventive health research, reduce unplanned hospitalizations and promote wellness in children.
